Tico cooking doesn't only consist of rice and beans, fried fish and plantains. Our menu is based on modern Costa Rican gastronomy as well as typical recipes handed over from generation to generation. We use organically grown vegetable and fruits from local farmers and natural products such as fish freshly caught in the Golfo Dulce. In many recipes, we use typical products that our guests have probably rarely or never tasted before.

Meals are individually prepared and served at the table. We do our best to avoid the use of canned, dried or concentrated food, and we use only fruits, vegetables and oil of very good quality. Our juices are freshly pressed from local fruits. The main ingredient, however, is the love with which the women from La Gamba prepare the dishes every day.
